How do I know which size will fit me best?

The size guide serves as a general guideline for helping you find your correct size fit. Please bear in mind our silhouettes do vary from a slim to oversized fitting – so please always check the description. If you have any questions regarding a fit of a garment please email customer care before purchasing.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?

Once an order is placed, we’re unable to make changes as the shipping process has already started. Our orders are processed immediately so once an order ships we are unable to cancel this. If you do need us to cancel your order please email customer care right away including your order number and full name in your request. Always ensure your shipping address is correct. Any order with an invalid address will be automatically returned and cause a delay in delivery time. If you have entered an incorrect delivery address, please contact customer care.

What if an item is not the color that I thought it would be?

Please bear in mind due to different computer monitors/calibrations colors may vary slightly from the picture. Although every effort is made to photograph garments in truest form and describe these in detail, we cannot guarantee every monitor will accurately depict the actual color of the product.

How do I care for my Summer Somewhere garments?

Each Summer Somewhere piece is hand made and hand dyed. Each garment has care instructions listed in the product page and we will also include a care note in the delivery box. We recommend dry cleaning all dark colored garments and for the rest hand wash in cold water.

Domestic & International Shipping

Is there a shipping fee?

We ship all over India for free of orders over ₹7,000. Orders of a lesser value (for India) and all international orders, have a delivery fee associated depending on your delivery address. You will be able to view the information at the time of checkout.

What’s the status of my order?

Once you’ve received your shipping confirmation email you can track by clicking on the tracking link and see the status of your delivery. Please note that it may take 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once your order is placed, the order takes 1-2 business days to process. In addition to the processing time, standard shipping takes 3-5 business days. Please note, during sale events or within 3 days of a new collection launch you may experience a 3-5 delay in receiving your order. International deliveries will take up to 7-10 business days. (Please note: Business days do not include the weekend). We have a same day pick up option for Mumbai orders placed before noon. To opt for this method, please select 'Local Pickup' during the checkout process. After placing your order you can reach us via email to schedule the pick up from the warehouse in Chakala, Andheri. Please note our pick up timings are Monday to Friday between 11:00 - 5:00PM. If you have a pre-order item in your order, your whole order will be shipped together at the same time as the pre-order shipping date. We request you to place a separate order for the items you would like to receive prior.

Will I have to pay customs and duties taxes?

If you purchase from outside of India, you, the buyer, are responsible for all customs & duties associated within your own country. For detailed information, we recommend contacting your local customs office or reading our shipping terms page. We are legally required to declare the full value paid on all Summer Somewhere orders and must include the correct invoice for customs should they request this.


What does final sale mean?

Items marked with final sale will not be accepted for a return or exchange. If you have any questions about your sale item or want to check whether your order qualifies for a refund please email customer care.

What if a final sale item I ordered arrived damaged?

Please email customer care with your order number, full name and photographs of the damaged garment.

Will there be delays during a sale period in shipping?

During sale events or within 3 days of a new collection launching you may experience a delay on your item being shipped. We appreciate your patience during these delays and work hard to get your item to you in the quickest time possible.

How can I use a voucher/code?

After you have added your items to your cart, please select to proceed to checkout. You will have the option to add your discount code or promo code to your order. Please bear in mind, only one discount code can be redeemed per order.


Any purchases made on our FLASH SALE are eligible for exchange only. Items can be exchanged for other sizes or styles based on the same full price value of the item purchased during the promotion, and exchanges are subject to availability at the time your return has been received and processed by our warehouse team. Should a customer wish to exchange for an item of a higher retail price, then the price difference between the 2 products will be payable at the time of exchange. Exchange value will be considered based on the the discounted price paid for the item/s. Standard returns policy guidelines still apply. See below for more information.

What does it mean if I can sign up for an item?

If an item is sold out, you can sign up with your email and let us know your desired color and size. As soon as your favourite item is back in stock in your preferred sizing/color we will notify you via email.

Returns & Exchanges


A request for an exchange or return, must be submitted within 14 days of receiving your order. The items must be in original condition with the original packaging and all tags attached. Any garments that appear to have been worn, washed, or altered in any way will be refused. Please take care when trying on garments, as we cannot accept garments that have incurred any makeup stains or that smell of perfume. The items must be returned to our warehouse before the return for credit or exchange can be issued. Items are eligible for exchange only once. We do not accept any exchanges for items marked as FINAL SALE. Swimwear is considered final sale if the hygienic liner is broken or not in place. We do not accept any international returns / exchanges at the moment. Flash Sale items are eligible for store credit only. Only authorised returns will be processed. Any returns sent without authorisation will be refused and it will be the responsibility of the customer to arrange collection of their garment. Please note, the above returns policy applies to all purchases made via the website only. Unfortunately, we do not have a refund policy.

How can I exchange a garment?

If you have purchased as a registered user: you can request the return/exchange by logging in to your account, and clicking on return for that order number. Follow the steps through and submit your request. Once your request is approved, we will send a courier to pick up your package at the address provided within 24-48 hours. If you have purchased as a guest: Click on the link below or the link that appears in any of the emails we sent you regarding your order. Follow the steps through and submit your request. Once your request is approved, we will send a courier to pick up your package at the address provided within 24-48 hours. Once approved, please pack the garment in its original packaging with all the original tags and a pick-up agent will come to collect the package. Please note if we receive the items in any other packaging, we will not be able to accept the return and the package will be sent back. Remember that you must send the items you wish to return within 14 days from the shipping date of your order, before the exchange period expires. Items are eligible for exchange only once.

What if the garment received is faulty / damaged?

Every product we send out is initially quality controlled, however if you have received a product with a manufacturing fault we will replace it or refund the cost as long as it has been returned within the 14 day return period. If you have received a faulty item please follow the same steps listed above for exchanges/returns. You will need to upload images of the damage in order for the team to investigate. We will replace the item if stock is available or refund the amount upon return.

What if an item I purchased is out of stock?

If you purchase an item that has sold out, you will be notified by email as soon as possible and offered a suitable replacement or a full refund.

Do you have a return pick up service for items that I need to exchange?

We have a courier service that will facilitate the return, however this is chargeable. While you file your request for an exchange/return, you will be redirected to a page with the charge of INR 200 as a pickup fee. For exchanges requested for store credit, the pick up fee of INR 200 will be deducted from credit issued. Be sure to view our size chart before placing your order to make the purchase seamless.


What are the payment methods that are accepted online?

Online: We accept all major Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club and Maestro) for domestic and international online purchases.
